GEOFF ROWLEY It was near 30 years ago that Geoff Rowley first picked up a skateboard in Liverpool. Just five years later, Rowley packed his bags and headed to Long Beach. This began a career that led to a long association with Vans, an award as Thrasher Skater of the year and his rise to become arguably the most famous skater Britain has ever produced. Throughout his career, Rowley has seen skateboarding evolve from a niche pursuit to an Olympic sport.
